All of us writing are volunteers with the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana. We hope to write as honestly about our experiences as possible and to be as respectful to the community here. However, we do not represent the Office of Disaster Relief.

Our house is filled with college interns, volunteering in New Orleans anywhere from one week to several months. Most of us are current students staying the summer. We share work together, share meals, and live all under one roof. We hope to share some of the perspective we have, but know that our experiences are very individual and very different from that of New Orleans residents.
